Curious if any one knows the size of blade a D8H (70's model) came standard with. I have located one out in the bush and didn't want to get it here without knowing the size! Thanks!
Would that be a straight blade or angle blade?
You would have various options. Straight, Semi-U, Full-U, or Angle blade. If someone is close to it have them look at the RH side top corner of the back side of the blade right next to where the tilt cylinder connects. There ought to be a Part # stamped in that area. If you're really lucky the Serial # Plate might still be on it. May have to chip off a fair amount of paint to find the numbers. Even better idea can you get a photo and post it..?
If it is for the 70's the 8S is 13'-1" wide. s/n 44Kxxxx or 69Exxxx The 8A is 15'-2" wide. s/n 28Exxxx
