Daewoo 220-lc 3 Right track doesnt work after heating up?

Michael Jenkins ยท 2020-05-04 15:37

just got this excavator, after an hour of it running the excavator right drive gets very slow or doesnt work at all. Also it doesnt have any down push power after it heats up. ive never owned a excavator so i am new to this type of machinery. Could this be a valve not opening and sending hydraulic fluid once it gets hot?

so when i crank the machine it will run great as far as movement of both tracks, after i run it for an hour the right track will pretty much not move at all. only my left track will, its like my right track has lost all power. As far push down power, sorry i meant that also after and hour of running it I am losing power to push the boom and stick down and say lift one side of the machine.

Good day Michael As with most Korean machines the Daewoo has a two pump system - the two pumps remain separate for the crawler circuits however the pump's provide power something of this order > Pump 1 One crawler - Boom & bucket - >Pump 2 the remaining crawler and arm + Swing - normally both pumps will combine to provide additional flow for arm in & Boom raise. The main relief valve is common to both pumps therefor if the power loss was due to the main relief valve all functions would be effected - From your description is sounds more probable that one pump has an issue - you could switch pump delivery hose's to check it out but don't overlook the regulator connections as well. I hope this is helpful Kind regards Uffex
