This is part of my fewer links program. I'll make it worth your while. PAG is "potentially acid generating" rock. It can be an issue in open pit mining and highway construction. This post features photos of a tug and barge set-up at Porteau Cove to accept PAG material from the Sea to Sky job. And because we are looking at Porteau Cove, there is a photo of the diesel/steam train, the Royal Hudson steaming through the Porteau area. The highlight is some fantastic video from the 2008 rock slide that closed the highway at Porteau for several days...lots of machine and helicopter action.
