Does anyone have any experience with a John Deer 120 (2006) trackhoe. Good points-Bad Points. Long story but out Hiticha 120 (2003) with 2500 hours has been a problem child for the last 6 months and the dealer is at a lost. It overheats some days-or so the gauge and buzzers say and will then die and not want to crank till next day. New, thermostat. all senors, water pump, radiator roded, new brain box and gauge, all foam air seals inplace, system flushed, no codes show up, new water hoses etc. May run fine a day or two then start heating up again. Know the 2 brands are basicly same just different engine. They are offering a really good trade out on the deer with no hours new model but has been on their lot for almost a year. The Hiticha has the 5000 hr powertrain and engine warranty so the overheating is thier problem to solve and one way out is replace machine with new.
