I have a Deere 160CLC with 3500 hours. The turbo has started to whistle slightly at 3/4 or higher rpm setting. Has anyone had this problem and how serious is it? Thanks for any information.
unless its unusually loud i would say its normal
I wouldn't worry to much about it. She's just getting broke in
Could be a leak on the pressurized size of your intake, usually the rubber hose.
i've been watching this thread waiting to hear some ideas. My neighbour has a tractor with the same problem. You can hear it coming from a couple concessions away. It really weird. Been like that for a couple years.
Can you give a little more detailed description of the whistle? Is it actually a high pitched whistle or more like a howl?
Does it sound the same before and after servicing the air filter?
