I had two codes come on the last time I used my 160. Anyone able to tell me what they mean? 97-16 and 1569-31 Thanks
97-16 is for water in fuel. check the primary fuel filter, the one with the wire coming out of the bottom of it. the 1569-31 came up because the 97-16 happened and it derates the engine.
Br. That's great! Thanks for the info, I am glad it is something simple. I don't get why they have to have a code for water in fuel. Most other diesel equipment and trucks have a simple light for this. I wasted a bunch of time checking all the fluid and components. When I could have taken 30 seconds to drain the water from the filter.
