On our 2019 245 GLC the chart on the inside of the side door calls for GL-5 80-90 or 85-140 for the swing gear oil. All we have on-site is 75-90 synthetic gear oil ….. is it okay to top it up with this oil ?
Yes. If you look in the operators manual in the maintenance section and look at the graphic in the swing gear oil section, it shows 75-90 and the temperature ranges it can be used in.
