I am needing to find out the main boom pin diameter on a Deere 270DLC excavator. We are looking at buying one & already have a long reach boom we are thinking of Swapping onto it but want to make sure it's the same pin size. Called dealer & part number doesn't say the size. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
A search of the part # for the bushings comes up with a 100mm pin diameter. YMMV, John
Great! My only other dilemma is then that the distance from the main boom pin to where the cylinders attach on the boom. On the original boom it measures 105" but the long reach boom measures 98 3/8". In your opinion do you see any issues with this?
