I've got a deere 310e mfwd. The right front hub is locking up. It will roll about two feet and then lock. I can reverse and it will roll a couple feet then lock. Everything else including the other side of the front axle is working properly. Anybody have an idea what the problem is?
Possible the double u-joint where it steers is munched, but personally I would bet the planetary hub is toast. You could be really lucky and it's just wheel end bearings. Remove tire and wheel, tear it down from the outside in, you'll find it whatever it is.
