Working on an early 750 dozer, right track takes off faster than the left in forward and reverse, removed and capped lines at transmission control valve, the left side builds pressure more slowly than the right side but they both do equal out in forward and reverse (checking at P5, 6,7&8). Removed control valve and disassembled, book says possible leakage at the base gaskets, didn't find anything obvious yet, what else should I look for? I am suspicious of the orifices in the left steering valve but did not find any plugging, the slower pressure build on the left means that the right track always starts moving first. Somebody out there has been there and done that, any suggestions would be appreciated. JW
it's been a while since i worked at deere, since the right side moves first fwd & rev, i assume that it always mistracks the same direction ie: C pattern somewhere in the manual it spells out how to adjust tracking. C pattern is the easiest to adjust, either speed up the slow track, or slow down the fast track. :drinkup
