deere front end loader indicator rod

I have a JD 310 B backhoe and its missing the indicator rod for the front end loader. I would like to make a replacement the tube is still present. a picture of what the rod looks like and how it is attached would be a great help if anyone has one or similar. nothing in the manual about it. thanks

    If the tube is still there, you can use just about anything for the rod. For the length, just find a level spot, get the bucket level on the ground, and trim the rod untill it is even with the notch in the tube.
