I have a problem with the dipper arm dropping while using the machine. The seals were replaced in the ram. It was checked out and I was told it is the spool valve. The machine is a volvo ec140b. My question is, is this a common problem. Also the machine has check valves so I would have thought this would stop the oil leaving the ram. Am I wrong thinking that?
Good day eddie1986 There are a number of causes to this issue if your machine has hose failure valve fitted that will mean it has two shock valves and that of the Hose failure valve is the most probable.
