I have encountered the follow two circumstances: Some customers have preference to China engines since they are cheaper than that of Japan or others. Some choose not to buy forklifts equipped with engines made in China. To adapt to the prepference of customers, many manufactures have multiple engine choices for you to choose, right? Is the origin of the engine weigh a lot in your purchase?
The big thing is that they want it to be reliable. the next two items on the list will be fuel efficiency and parts availability, depending on the customer. Unless they have a built-in service agreement they want to be able to fix the simple items themselves and not have to go back to the dealer for parts. Of course this is not always practical, but they want the lowest repair cost. ISZ
Power, reliability and long dependable service . Something a certain country doesn't produce.
the origin of the product is important. Chinese forklifts just sound like a great way to get someone killed.
Can't agree more
I am agreed with your point of view. every customer wants low repair cost. So he will purchase only those engines which meet these criteria. Further parts availability and fuel efficiency are also important criteria. So origin does not matter for most of the customers. If engine fulfills these criteria then it will be customer choice.
