    Good morning. You rang.........?? Attached is the procedure to troubleshoot the 872-9 Diagnostic Code for the Pitch Rate Sensor. This is usually related to a fault on the CAN Datalink. Sorry but there is no Spanish version of this document. Se adjunta el procedimiento para diagnosticar código 872-9 para el sensor de velocidad de cabeceo. Esto generalmente está relacionado con una falla en el Datalink CAN. Lo siento, pero no existe una versión en español de este documento.

    I think it is one of the sensors in the bottom of the blade control joystick that measures how far the control has been moved from the neutral position..

    The first part of the troubleshooting procedure is to open and clean every major wiring harness connector between the joystick and the Implement ECM. There are two position sensors located underneath the joystick. I am reasonably sure that the Pitch Rate Sensor is the one which detects the forwards and backwards movement of the joystick. (The one that detects side to side movement of the joystick is the Inclination Sensor)
