EX200-3 pump control

Hey guys, im running out of ideas my pump is stuck on minimum swash angle so everythings moving super slow. Ive replaced the sloinoid valves with some second hand ones and it made no difference. Also the engine speed sensor. When i unplug both the solinoid valves it it goes to maximum swash and i checked the angle sensor and it reads 4.4v. If i unplug only the angle sensor then nothing happens but from previous experience, it should send it to maximum. That makes me think its not the angle sensor but maybe the PVC but the light on PVC is flashing constantly. Has anyone had one of these fail before? The other possibility is that the plugs conecting the solinoid valves have been swapped over and the problem is with the angle sensor i dont think this is it but im not the only one whos tryed to fix it. Could somebody please check the wire colours on the harnes side of the plugs. I have valve#1 going to a red and a yellow. Valve#2 is going to 2 yellow wires. Thanks

You need to hook up and read what the controller is seeing

Yea ive got a Dr Zx palm which ive tryed pluging in but it says cant read, check conection. The only likely plug i could find came from a loom under the right control console

I'm not saying your pump controller is bad, but when ever I have it that DR ZX will not communicate with the machine that's usually what is wrong. Is there another Hitachi in the area you can plug in to just to make sure your DRZX is working?

Yea k ok thanks for that, unfourtunately im stuck out in the middle of nowhere with plane accsess only so might just try and get hold of a pump controller and try it. Do you know if the chinese ones are any good or am i better to look for a second hand original?

Could it be somebody put it in limp mode? If they did then it will not allow the pumps to go to full stroke and it won't move very fast. Generally if the solenoids are faulty it will go to full stroke and kill the engine as soon as you try to move a control... At least that's what it did on my -2 when the computer went out. As far as I know they're almost the same...

Yea it seems like limp mode. Do you know how i could get it back out?

Sorry about the late reply... If it's like the -2 which I think it most likely is, there's a square looking plate on the bottom of the main hydraulic pump held in with 4 allen bolts. Remove the allen bolts and pull the plate down. There could be a little oil dribbling out but shouldn't be very much, on mine nothing comes out... You will see a long pin on the plate a bit off center. Turn the plate around 180 degrees, put it back in and bolt 'er up. Should work.
