Excavator hydraulic problems

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone had any ideas why my tracks have lost power. It's an 05 cat 315c, CJC03144, it started out with just th right track losing forward power when turning. Now it's affecting both tracks forward and backwards. When cold it will occasionally kick in and have good turning power but when warmed up it hardly ever will. However both tracks seem to pull good as long as going straight. The whole machine does seem to lose some hydraulic power as it warms up so wondering if pumps are worn? Have noticed a sort of hissing noise coming from valve bank after it warms up to. Thanks for any ideas or help.

Might be worth pulling the return filter and seeing if there's metal in there. If your pumps are wearing, you'll usually find the evidence in the filter.

Make sure to pay extra attention to the filters. If any debris was able to get by then your valve body is contaminated as well which could result in your symptoms. I recently went through something similar with a different machine and ended up having the pump and valve body remanned. On the bright side it could just be worn seals in the valve body as well. Hope its the cheaper of the 2!
