I have a number of demo jobs coming up that are in fairly remote areas. If I crush the concrete from the foundations, I can leave it onsite, otherwise I have to off haul it. Does anyone make a crusher for a 35,000 lb excavator that can handle/pass rebar?
I think all the crusher buckets will handle rebar as there are no conveyors to get damaged. If you can get it in the jaws it will crush it through. Obviously grid reinforcing needs to be cut up first to fit, but columns can go straight through. Some even have magnets to separate it out after crushing. MB seem the most popular. http://www.mbcrusher.com/eng/scheda-prodotto/bucket-crusher-mb_8.php Graham
I think you could get by with a simple processor, much cheaper.
