Komatsu pc130-7, plenty of welding experience just first time doing a repair on a excavator arm
Welding experience on HSS ? What welding process will you use ? Lineboring equipment to recut after welding ?
There’s lots of information around regarding repairing and rebuilding of Cat excavator sticks, not sure about Komatsu. One thing it will need is holes cutting in the box section sufficiently large to give access for welding the structure internally. It will probably also require some sort of fixture to hold all the parts together for the initial welding. From experience attempting to weld stick cracks just from the outside can only lead to failure.
Stick welder it hasn’t effected the pin at all

The amount of welding that will be required to stitch all that back together it would be a miracle if it doesn’t pull the bores out of alignment. Been there, done that.
What I've seen done more than once was the original bore was cut out and tossed in the scrap pile and a new piece of heavy tubing was welded back in its place with the proper amount of prep. The tube was then line bored to accept factory bushings. What kind of attachments are being used on the end of that stick?
IC weld on utube has done a few weld repairs on excavators. You will have a good idea of how he approaches a stick repair. There is quite a bit involved.
