Hi,this is Chinese simple teaching chair for excavators.
That's a video game at Dave and Busters!!!
Im sorry but simulators are really not much good for this type of learning.
they maybe ok for a day to learn the pattern, But real dirt and a real machine will teach you the touchy feelie part of digging
That doesn't even look like a simulator, it really does look like a game, because it is not from the operators point of view.
good point! that does look pretty fun though!
I wanna buy one for my basement!
Power shovel for play station, it's for real, check it out on eBay. It's pretty fun, when we get winter shut downs it makes the cold days go by a bit quicker.
For the PS1?
I think it will work for ps1&2, it's best to have the joystick controllers though.
I see. I have a PS2 and even that's getting to be old school
maybe it is suitable for learning the simple basic skill, real skill should be from the pratice.
Seem to recall the auzzie mining companies using simulators to train their operators.................
Now THIS is a simulator. We've got one on our job site with kits for Cat off-highway trucks, Cat track dozers (D10/11), and our Hitachi EX3600 shovel/backhoes. For each one basically you change the seat & controls (it's lifted off the movable base using a hydraulic crane) for one that corresponds to the make & model of machine you want to train on. They are really good for training green operators before letting them loose on the real thing, especially in places where it's impossible to find experienced operators. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YMfnwyD02E http://www.immersivetechnologies.com/
Nuna logistics does one as well. http://nunatraining.com/simulator_based_training.html
