gday fellas i hope you can help me and the oldman out, the transmision is slipping in the tractor and when we want to chech the oil level where the clutch is their is about 4 bolts? which one do we undo? why would it be slipping?

is this a turbomatic ? the older ones (turbomatic) have a dry clutch plate attached to a torque converter, to test rev the engine hard before trying to stall it, but most likely your clutch plate is worn out.
