Hello everybody I have been trying to find a definitive answer by various searches but I still need clarification as the answer is still unclear. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance. What license or certification if any do you need to operate heavy equipment in the state of Florida and how to do obtain it? I am looking to relocate to Florida, currently a Massachusetts resident with my DOT card and Hosting Engineer License which allows me to operate front-end loaders, skid steers, backhoes, excavators etc.
None. Just NCO for crane operators and forklift training for OSHA.
Thank you for the prompt response! I also read that a CDL license is required but I'm assuming that's not either? I have my Class A permit with air brake endorsement I would apply to convert once I got the license up here in MA. Thanks again
