Saw this the other day. Machine lost a tie rod end and they needed a bit more room to work. Made me wonder exactly what are some better ideas to access these low slung machines - for example, I had a scissor lift hydraulic hose leak (replacement) and working space was essentially zero until I raised the machine with a reachlift telehandler. I suggest it was raised with another bigger forklift and set on the blocks for the repair.
I used to work for a major forklift OEM in the R&D dept. We used ones very similar to these. ISZ Just be careful. If you remove the mast or CWT the forklift may tip over!! (Seen it! :badidea)
