Hi I just purchased this machine and it seems to be a lemon, when I try to look up parts for this machine no one seems to be able to help. I am looking for wiring schematics, due to melted wires in the cab. Also what's the history on these machines and the difference between Hitchi.
Fiat Hitachi was an Italian made Hitachi, had Iveco (fiat group) engines, which is not bad at all. Altough your machine should be some strange combination of parts. Your original decals should had Fiatallis instead, since there was none 250 Fiat Hitachi, Your machine must have a cummins engine, you may look for parts on a Newholland dealer and google for Fiatallis FX 250 LC.
Yah on the machine tag it says Fiat Hitachi FX 250, and yes it does have the cummins engine. So Newholland is the dealer of these machines.
The Problem of buying italian made machines is that in future you never know who is the owner, the same dealer sold, Fiatallis, Fiat-hitachi, Fiat-kobelco and now NewHolland... All from the fiat group... There where others, We had a skid steer branded as Libra and now its branded as something else. Cat or Komatsu its always the same thing, after 20 years of life you konw where to go get the parts
