Gear oil

This thread is meant for Salesrep but by all means please respond. My Bobcat 430 mini-x calls for SAE-90w in the final drives. All I can seem to find is either 75w90 or 80w90. What's the difference? I did find some SAE-90w but it said it was for marine use. :beatsme

The diff between those mentioned is similar to say a 15-40 engine oil. In other words an 80-90 is multi-viscosity oil with cold flow properties of 80. Most 75-90 are straight syns. Given the fact of where you live I would go with a "strong" 80/90 if you cannot find a straight weight 90. The "marine" use 90w may be just labeling.
