Hi, new to this forum, just looking for some advice on a scissor lift i purchased recently. All operations seem to work fine apart from the brakes. When traveling at full speed and the control is let go it takes a good .5 - .8m to stop, all other scissor lifts i have used always stop instantly. There is one other problem which possibility is related. When traveling in the extended position fault code 59 id on the led readout and the red light on the controls turns on, but it still functions fine. According to the manual Error code 59 relates to series/parallel coil fault and suggests the dip switch setting are incorrect, tried adjust the dip switch setting to no avail. Hello Sir Leroy , Already had problems with the brakes Genie scissors , changed two brakes, and the machine continued to have a long period of braking at the end I changed the brake valve , for that is what the manual advises , and the machine again had a good run . Models is to make adjustment of the valves , you can inform me on one side of the hexagon of the valve there is a description numbered because there can inform you if there is adjustment or you will have to make troc the valve . About the fault 59, can not be linked to the curb , awaiting his return .
