I have a 1999 genie S40 with duetz Diesel engine. It starts, runs for 3 seconds and shuts down. When you turn the ignition to run without starting the engine, you can hear the fuel solenoid activate then after the 3 seconds it shuts off. Any ideas?
check the oil pressure sending unit..
Do you know what the ohm reading should be on the oil temperature sensor? It seems as though it is not working properly.
The oil pressure sensor is good. Any other ideas?
hello You should check IGN./START MODULE . Should you check out what's wrong? Which is light?
As it turns out, it is the alternator. It was failing. I replaced it, now it runs fine. Thanks for the help.
