Genie S40 with Ford 425 engine Gas & Propane

Tech6761 ยท 2023-07-27 19:52

I just bought a 2003 genie S 40 boom lift that has a 425 Ford gasoline engine in it. The lift has the capabilities of running on propane but the hose from the propane pressure regulator to the intake is not attached and I am having difficulty finding where it attaches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The big black rubber elbow, is that just going straight to the air cleaner? Then you have the throttle body and then straight to the manifold and it is gasoline fuel injected right now? If that is the case, there is no propane carb on it, and it needs more parts to make it work.

The rubber elbow goes from the air cleaner housing to the throttle body. Since there is a bolt in the hose from the regulator, the machine has the regulator, tank mount and coolant hoses, I am assuming the machine came with everything needed for propane use, but something failed at some point. I need to know what parts are missing to make it run on propane. Thanks

Contact Carb and Turbo Systems. The guy there will know the answers.

It sounds like the complete mixer assy is missing

Yes, it is missing the carb/mixer but the guy at CTS will have all the answers for this especially something common like this.
