What are the pros and cons of 1 or 2 grapples? The only ones i have used had 2.
The doubles work best IMHO. They will grab onto odd shapes better than a single. Can have a root ball on one side and the rest of tree on the other
Mecanil grapple saws and Heiden grapples are what we usually outfit on our trucks at work. I think it depends heavily on the application. They offer some larger 'clam shell' grapples that work great for loose brush. Both of the manufacturers offer great products.
I'm in the 2 grapple clamp as well, like said above they can grab odd shapes better.
