    that is such a shame....thats the way the banks think....lose £350,000 rather than have £160,000 come in.. these guyz are Bankers or did i misspell the word

    It wasn't about the debt, it was about a potential profit for the bank. Good for that guy for taking it down!

    Yup and we bailed the banks out to bad for the bank. The coutnry needs to bail out the middle class working people who built this country not a bunch of fat cat CEOS

    There was another guy who armored his dozer and went after a whole town. I guess if someone bulldozes their home instead of burning it down, the bank cannot collect insurance payments.

    i have not heard what happened but i do know a guy that knows him. My friend said, that the property value (bare land) exceded what he owed the bank. Thier was a gentelmans agreement with the local branch but the big boys went around his back and was going to foreclose and make a very large profit. So he did it so the bank (who he had been in buisness for 30 years) wouldnt make any money on his behalf!! Travis
