Anyone have hang-up problems in their buckets? Problem was solved in a 15cu meter bucket as fitted to a Hitachi EX2500 machine recently. A piece of ship's anchor chain welded into each back corner as shown in photo. John
I saw the same thing on a 988 loader bucket a few years back. They had welded old semi-truck 3 rail tire chains to the top of the bucket, and then to the bottom, right behind the segments. They had a set in each corner, and one right in the center. They were loose enough to push all the way into the back of the bucket while being loaded, then follow the sticky crap out while being dumped.
had them on buckets for years a bit noisey at times but it saves having to bang the muck out
Now thats a cool idea if ever there was one, so simple and cheap and sure would save a lot of bucket banging etc.
