i had an older hd 16 ac that would only steer one side-dealer in saskatoon couldnt figure it out-after digging aroud it was simple-a needle bearing blew apart-the hydraulic pump had two gears-one for each side-one gear was desroyed-had to replace the pump-also remove the fuel tank & steering compartment&flush out the whole steering system-not that expensive but a lot of work-i had talked to costello equipment edmonton-western tractor saskatoon-nobody had ever had that problem so after running cats for 40 years i learned a bit-but i can still learn every day-hope this helps somebody
