Hello, this is a question that came to my mind recently - what was the heaviest driven front axle with steering, that was ever used on a truck? So far i heard of course on the 5oton front axles of my namesake the Hendrickson 360, but i am not sure it was driven. Then the Payhauler 360 comes to mind with its 40 ton steered and driven front axle with the dual wheels on them. Everything else was either articulatet or had some sort of turntable steering right? I also would not not know of a driven and steered independant front suspension above 50 tons, but maybe someone here knows more Kind regards Hendrickson
30 ton steerable is what I know, Rockwell.
Where was that put in? But i guess the front axle of the Payhauler is heavier at around 40ton?
Kenworth.
What Model?
850.
