Have a jd 160g ive been working on. Rolled off trailer onto right side. Egr valve bent tubes bent egr pressure sensor and temp sensor busted. Had fan speed code aswell as differential pressure sensor code. Got it with exhaust restriction light on as well. Repaired all sensors. Down to 2 codes 1569-31 189-31. From what i found one is derate code one is fuel limiting. Tried park regen for hours stays same spot 1/3. Removed filter cleaned same, removed filter again soaked in purple power washed it. No change at all. Perfect flow threw. What am i missing here. Flex pipe is new aswell as egr valve tubes gaskets. Throws a differential pressure mismatch code time to time
Serial number? Need that to determine which aftertreatment system it has for accurate information. Are those the only codes you have? List all the codes you have/had. Those codes listed above only set as a result of another DTC setting.
Power washing dpf out will not help .It needs to be blown out with compressed are to clean out all the little holes like honey comb to get it cleaned out .
Been explained that there is NO physical method of home cleaning a DPF, has to be Cooked Out at somewhere well over 1000 degrees F where the common regen is around 600 F. Truck I run has one with issues where is slated to get a Reman unit replacement as cannot get it clean enough during regens. Regen Reman shop uses Natural Gas Burners for a specified amount of time to 'Cook Out' the caked in particulate materials.
