I recently installed a new hydraulic thumb on my 2018 E42 bobcat. I think its caused some air to end up in the system. I only notice the noise when I move the boom cylinder. It seems to get louder as the fluid warms up. What do I need to do?
Good day Ben Air is normally dispelled from the hydraulic circuit by full stroking the cylinder 3 or 4 times, if the noise is isolated to the boom raise then I would suggest looking close to that circuit. The question is if it is just when you raise the boom or also when you lower, if you can be specific as to the issue we will try to help some more. Kind regards Uffex
