Hi all, i have a hitachi ex100-2 we bought with the manual hydraulic conversion fitted, i am having a few issues with it. I cant lift the boom and pull the dipper in at the same time, Any help would be appreciated thanks
Hi Eoin440 Welcome to the Forum I don't have much experience with these models but here is what I can comment on from what I have studied from the technical manual information This load sensing system uses a single variable piston pump to supply all functions to the machine simultaneously. Each control valve section has a variable pressure compensating valve to control and maintain the speed of the functions while being independent of any load variations. Possible causes for your issue may be but are not limited to - Pilot secondary control pressures to control valve for the troubled functions - fault with one or more variable pressure compensating valves - Pump output flow too low or differential pressure incorrect. - fault with one or more of the actuators / cylinders You may get a lot more information around this fault using the search function on this forum and reading through some posts. Attached is an explanation of the VPC Valve. Reach out if you need any other information or help. There is a large number of veteran technicians that know a lot more information around various faults that you wont find covered in the machines technical or service manual publications. Please note that Hitachi do stipulate a reduction in the machine performance when converting to the mechanical kit. Best regards
