Can anybody on here tell me where to get information on a 1980s Hitachi UHO 45 especially any manuals? Is there a Deere model that is the same or another model number that is the same. It's got the isuzu engine. Can't seem to find anything online for this specifically. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Dave, I'm honestly not sure the only thing we can find on the machine is UHO45. My brother in law is taking it on trade for use on our family farm. It's got a seal on the right side drive motor that keeps blowing and we think it's because we can't really find the right part... but since he's gonna have this machine and we can put it to good use on our it would be really nice to find out more about it and where we might be able to get parts etc.

    You have the machine serial number ? If the sn # starts with 154-xxxx it’s a UHO45-5 If the sn # starts with 129-xxxx it’s a UH045 -7

If it’s a -5 , it is very similar to a UH062. The Deere bookstore has a service manual only and operators manual only. John Deere - Technical Information Bookstore Welcome to John Deere C&F Technical Information Bookstore. This site contains operating, maintenance, and service information. www.johndeeretechinfo.com . if it’s a -7 the Deere Bookstore has parts manuals. John Deere - Technical Information Bookstore Welcome to John Deere C&F Technical Information Bookstore. This site contains operating, maintenance, and service information. www.johndeeretechinfo.com . A -7 is very similar to a UH063. Deere Bookstore has service manual and an operators manual for a UH063. John Deere - Technical Information Bookstore Welcome to John Deere C&F Technical Information Bookstore. This site contains operating, maintenance, and service information. www.johndeeretechinfo.com . A UH063 is very similar to a Deere 490 straight. The 490 has a Deere engine

May be able to also identify using the engine model. Per the online operators manual a UH062 (UH045-5) has an Isuzu engine model 6BD1. Per the parts catalog a UH045-7 has an Isuzu engine model 6BB1 .

https://spare.avspart.com is a great source for parts catalogs also. Search Hitachi UH062 or UH063 .
