I’ve got a 2004 ZX 130 with some running issues. I haven’t long started doing work for the bloke who owns it and he’s only just bought the machine himself. Gone in and serviced the machine all fine. Noticed how it wouldn’t turn the engine off on the key. You either had to stall it out the last bit or pull the cut off on the fuel pump. More he used it the better it got until it started playing up worse. Will start up and go straight to full revs, after about 3 seconds it cuts out. When you turn the ignition on you hear the motor moving and when you turn the key off again. Have tried the learn switch but still the same issue. Runs fine if you disconnect motor and run revs manually. Sometimes it will turn over till you turn revs to half then fire and run but only low revs at max. Switch it off and start again and it will rev flat out then cut out. Just after some advice reply as don’t know these particular machines and don’t really want to throw parts at it and not fix it.
