MY HITACHI zaxis 200 stepping motor will not work proper;y. Will not trottle up or down or shut engine down. I can hear motor whining it acts as if its trying to run both directions at once. stepping motor is brand new. Not sure why it has power to it with key in the off position. any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Was it doing this before the motor was replaced? Was the motor arm and cable fitted the same way it was removed? And finally was engine learning performed after it was fitted?
Yes to the first two questions and no to the last question. I dont know how to perform the engine learning. and thanks for the reply
There should be a little silver switch in the fuse box. It should be in the centre position. With ign off, move switch to the E position, turn on ign for about 10-15 seconds, turn ign off, wait a while till the machine powers down, move switch back to centre, then try it and see if its ok.
