how do i tell wether the air governor is bad or the drier.

The truck is building up to much air and wondering how to tell weather it is the air governor or the air drier.thanks

    Well, it could be unloader valves in the compressor, but it's probably the governor; It's definitely not the dryer, as it doesn't control pressure.
