ah. we have a 7210 deere with a 6.8L is rated at 95 hp. has a turbo. ours dinos at 105. i would like to get 120 hp out of it by turning up the fuel pump. anyone have any input. it has the power quad tranny. i know deere has a 7510 that dinos at 118 stock, it looks like the same machine. im a little concerned about the radiator size and the tranny. it has 9000 hours on it. never had a problem with it.
what do you use the tractor for, soley drawbar work...pto work....dyno queen?
the dyno queen dyno queen ....i like that ..
I am not very familiar with Deere tractors, but I know with CaseIH they make small changes in the drivetrain to save money with the smaller hp models in the lineup. With the Magnum 7100/7200/8900's for instance, they used smaller axles and lighter final drives on the 10's and 20's. The MFD would also only have 3 planetary gears instead of 4. I would be surprised if Deere doesn't do the same thing. When you get on the engineering side of things, all of the parts are designed to live with x hp for z hours of heavy use. If you increase x you will decrease z until you get to a limit where you break something. It comes down to what is it worth to you? ISZ
