How to determine which diesel engine i have in my 1975 Case 580 B backhoe

I have a 1975 Case 580 B CK backhoe with a diesel engine. I need to replace the head gasket for it but haven't been able to determine if it is a 188 or 207 engine. Anyone know how to tell the difference?

    Yes it was listed with both the 188 and the 207 engine. The bore on the 188 is 3.8125 inches and the 207 is 4 inches. I pop the head most of the time and check it to be sure.

    Thanks, that will be easy to check since I already have the head off.
