Huber maintainer

Well i just became the owner of one of the old Huber maintainers, this one has a 4 cylinder continental flat head, has a front dozer blade , the circle has one piston that pushes the arms both out at one time, there locking pins on both sides lock one side and let the other side come out to angle it then lock this side. My question is where would the s/n and model be on this old rig???? i realize this is just a want to be grader but its pretty neat ,i'm thinking its a late 50's early 60's machine, if anyone had an old maintainer manual i really would like to buy it, thanks. Don

It sounds like you have a Huber M52. Produced from 1956 to about 1960. It was replaced with the M500. The serial number may be on the right side frame rail on a metal tag. It should start with CH and four digits. I may have a service manual for it. You can contact me at (803)324-0075. Joe
