hydraulic fluid is getting into my oil on a 80 tractor

   It's going into engine oil and and the level is going down ( by the way I'm helping my grandfather so please be patient with me)

   If the engine oil level is going down, how do you know hydraulic fluid is getting in there ? where is the engine oil leaking out ?

   I think the OP means the hyd. oil is getting lower not the engine oil but it would be good to give a more detailed account of what is happening and how it started. There's isn't enough details to get a good idea of what's happening.
