Hello everyone! I have a problem and i need help. I have a Kubota R 410 and i don't know what oil to put in hydraulic system. I asked a man who has heavy equipments machines and he told me to use H 46 oil (hyd 46), so i bought 50 liters of this oil. Couple of days ago i saw a stiker on my loader ,in a hard to spot area showing a oil cylinder and an oil drop inside of it and under saying use 10 w 30 ''CD'' OIL. What shoud i use ? Does h46 affect my loader? What are the problems ? Thank you!

check your service manual or phone the suppliers of your machine. maybe just ask the previous owner if its a second hand machine

I don t have a service manual , just parts manual . In my area there isn't any kubota shop and the previous owner bought the loader from austria and use it verry little before sell it to me. So i guess he never changed the oil.At how many howers i need to change hydraulic oil ? Thanks for reply.

Hi According to Shell they say Spirax S4 TXM or 15-40 above 15 degree C, 33 litre. Transmission and hydraulic share the same oil so i wouldnt use H46

Ok so i shoud use any 15w 40 for hydraulic system ,right? What about "CD" rating ? What does it means? Thanks a lot for reply

Thats right as long as it meets the API -CD class,( thats the quality of the oil). Youll find the spec. on the oil can/drum.

Ok . But the "CD" class of oil is no longer available..just superior classes. Thanks for answer.
