I have a Hyundai 160lc-9 excavator. New batteries. New starter. Getting correct voltage everywhere. But, trying to start the engine the starter will barely turn over. Like it has a huge drag on it. I'm about 99% sure the hydraulic pump is building pressure during starting. I'm thinking it must be a solenoid not opening and letting the pump spin free during start. Any ideas?
I changed my mind. I'm sure it's a voltage problem to the starter not hydraulic.
