Hydraulic temperature, volvo 330

What is the max hydraulic temperature allowed on volvo 330BLC excavator. By the way it reaches 95 to 100 degree C and the machine slow down obviously at these temperature. Is it a common problem on the 330's ?

No, that's not a common problem, what kind of work are you doing? Is your hydraulic oil temp warning light lamp coming on? There is a service bulletin about the oil cooler thermostat. You may want to locate remove and inspect that before you go on a wild goose chase. You may want to unplug the temp sensor on the bottom of the hydro tank. Oil cooler fan should go full speed.

Mainly working on bucket. I don't know about the warning light, I will check later on. What do you mean by the thermostat, is it the check valve that protect the cooler aginst high differential pressure. Once the temperature sensor unplugged, what will be the max speed of the cooler fan

Unplugged, fan should go to max which iirc should be 1800 or so. Very noticeable difference. Thermostat is just that a thermostatic valve in the pipe between MCV and cooler package. It has some goofy little v-band clamps holding it in place. Should be tightly wedged in between MCV and bulkhead to engine compartment.
