What are some pros and cons of hydraulic winches and pto winches. Our application needs slow speed and variability of speed
not sure what you are trying to do with what size winch but I have a 10k military winch and was going to put a hyd drive on it and use it off the back of a tractor for pulling logs up out of the woods reason I wanted to go hyd was 1 it lets u reverse the winch while under load and 2 should also make a brake for it as when the valve is shut it should hold the winch
