I think there are D6Cs with the D6E winch on it. I would suggest you do a fair bit of measuring of the mating surfaces and bolt locations to make sure it fits.

My old Hyster Application Data says the D6E(DD) winch fit models 37A,44A,74A and 99J. Also fits the 8U/9U series although it doesn't state that in this application chart.

Wish I could get a decent old winch for my Allis, could remove the old MP bucket counterweight and get a useful functional counter weight.

stud pattern is the same on D6 9u/ D6B/ D5/ D6C. BUT pto shafts and splines are different for these machines. Also if this D6E winch is on a 9u [these are 50s vintage] with manuel transmissions, it will be a sliding gear winch. If your D6C is powershift you really need a powershift winch. As pto shaft on a p/s tractor has a non interuptable pto shaft ie constant turning. But will fit a direct drive D6C but with different shaft and coupling Dave winch for a HD7G is a Carco E30ps. ps stands for powershift. E30sg will fit but you have to stop pto shaft turning to get winch into gear. Have a E30sg on my 6EP and stall shaft by putting trans into gear, not a ideal setup but ok for occasional winching jobs, just need to be very alert of whats going on.
