Hi We have a 2010 loader that's transmission keeps overheating. Even after about an hour and a half and in the cool of the morning. We have a had a Hyundai technician look at it and can't find out the problem. It has no fault codes coming up. Has anyone experienced this problem before?
Have you checked the differential temperature across the transmission cooler? Does this machine have a Cummins engine for power?
I had to create a new account because it wouldnt let me log in. We have checked the temperature differential and it doesn't really change in normal operation to when it overheats. The pressure going in is about 100 psi and going out about 45 psi. Not sure if thats normal or not. Yes it has a cummins.
Hi I have the same loader. Have spent $10,000 replacing cooler, relief valve and having Hyundai mechanics testing it and it is still overheating. It seems to have issues whenever the weather is over 30 degrees Celsius. Does anyone have any ideas? As I'm out of options and have spent far too much trying to resolve this issue. Please let me know. Thanks
Does it have the ZF 4wg transmission? What transmission oil are you running?
This type of loader usually got the ZF 4WG260 box. Did you check oil level with engine at low idle? Oil dipstick is the correct one? Oil level should be around 50 mm below center output shaft. Overheating during fast drive or rather loading/working cycles? Is there a ZF display fitted in cab? ZF usually is throwing codes with t/c or sump temp. too high. How do you detect excessive temps? With HHI display? Is reading correct? br Bigbert
Hi it's the standard ZF transmission as far as I know. Its been using 20w40 engine oil in the transmission as what was recommended is that correct?
Hi, this oil is ok. Please check whether the converter inlet pressure is according to spec. So you are able to see whether the entire oil flow passes converter and cooler. Should go up from 3-4 bar @ low idle to 11 bar @ high idle in neutral. 70 degrees sump (operating temp.) br Bigbert
Hi Bigbert is it possible to get a contact for you email or phone? What country are u located in? We are in Australia. I believe the pressures have been tested also.
Hi Lockearth, certainly, this is allright: [email protected] , location Germany. br
hi I need your helps plz i have a laoder Hyundai HL740-7 machine code fault is 072 is view my laoder stop few in 30 mn
Hello Sofrym13, is the fault code related to engine, tranmission or vehicle computer? With the operation limitation I'd rather assume it is engine controller throwing a code? br Bigbert
