Thought some of you might enjoy seeing this unique setup.
The owners removed the dumpboxes from two of these trucks and set them up to pull these bottom dump trailers. The day I drove this one it was very muddy and even with the front duels pulling, it would not drag the trailer through the mud. On dry days, these convrted trucks moved a lot of dirt.
Milbocker-Wagner. Names familiar. Where they at?
strange to hear they wont pull the trailers in the wet, what hp would they have? 340 maybe?
They were in Ohio and SouthWest Michigan . But bankrupcy ended the joint venture last fall . It wasn't just wet, 20 inches of rain in clay , was so slippery you couldn't even walk in it, and they were down in the whole digging a lake and water was standing all over. One Big MESS !!
in that case i understand it completely, thanks Don lol
Don, Nice pictures. Do you happen to know what the tonnage rating is on the belly dump? The company I work for wants to convert a couple Payhaulers to pull 100 ton Athey wagons Jason
